Model calculations

The use of light for diagnostic or therateutic purposes needs detailed knowledge on the spread of the light in the irradiated tissue. This can be determined by model calculations and simulations. The developement of such virtual optical tissue models is one focus of my research.

Prerequisite for radiation transport calculations are the optical properties of the tissue which can be determine experimentally. In co-operation with my partners, I can offer measurements at your specimen.
